West sector of the palace

-Tachi cocked his head at the question as he unclasped his hands and raised one to his head, scratching a little. Normally, he wouldn't get questions this complex, but he was happy that he was training a being who was aware of his surroundings. A small yawn passed through his lips before he lowered his hands onto the ground and thought for a moment. Honestly, the only things he could think of was do what you would want to be done unto you, but even with that method it didn't go too smoothly. As far as he could think, there were no rules that had to be obeyed. Thinking this through for a few more moments, he gave a smirk, wondering how events would unfold if this male were to do as he pleased.-

"From what I know, no, there aren't any rules. Though just be aware, power is everything in this realm so be careful who you pick a fight with. Alright?" Tachi questioned, though knowing the answer he would receive along with the actions that would follow. "Anything else? If not, then we can begin your training."

-His vibrant green eyes never left the being, though he seemed to be a little sleepy. His demeanor showed it. He was relaxed at the moment, almost too comfortable. Pondering for a moment, he wondered just what to teach the male. Obviously since he had been able to use an element, why not show him how to replenish himself without the use of water. After all, as he said, power was everything in this realm. It was also the only thing keeping them alive. As these thoughts went through his mind, the male slumped slightly, almost as if he was falling asleep, but was this the case...or something else?

In the desert

-Rin's eye twitched slightly in annoyance. She didn't like people much, but seeing that this was rare, she put up with it. A sigh passed through her lips as she began up a rather large dune. Her feet sank into the sand with each stride, but somehow managed to be able to continue upwards at a rather steady pace. With the slight breezes, Rin felt them ruffling her clothes slightly, not like it was an issue. After a rather steep climb, the female made it to the top and gazed over the expanse of golden land.

She squinted slightly against the bits of sand flying with each kick of wind. All she could see was the glowing golden sand expanding across the horizon. Was this a joke? She could have sworn that the smell of water was present. But where? With all this sand flying around caused her vision to become obscured, but she had a small trick up her sleeve. Turning around to face the newcomers, she decided to give them an explanation to where they are and what was in store for them.-

"What I'm about to show you maybe something you haven't seen before, though in this world, you both may be able to wield what I do."

-Turning around once more, the female clapped both of her hands together. Suddenly, the female's clothes stopped ruffling and began to sway upwards, almost as of there was an updraft. A blue line began to form around her body while she continued to stare off at seemingly nothing. It seemed as if nothing was happening until a circle formed under the female's feet with letters written in some sort of old language. She could feel her energy being channeled from this circle as she slowly began to turn toward right. At that moment, a bright blue light erupted from the clasps of her hands and shot out. It raced through the air, shifting and turning until it landed behind a dune, seemingly a mile away.

Sighing and releasing the sudden burst of energy, Rin smiled. It was there, the oasis. Hopefully there was some sort of hut there so that she could calmly explain what will happen from here on end. She began down the slope, the familiar sand passing through her toes. Making her way down, thoughts continued to pound into her head. Were these two going to make it alright? And if they didn't, would her lord be angry with her? This was something she wished not to happen. Being on good terms with a yokai like him was the best option instead of actually being against him. Finally making it down the dune, the female turned back around to see if the two were following.-

"This way!" She called out to them both.

Rorfen said nothing. As he followed, it was almost as if he was in a trance, his breathing barely enough to be heard and not shedding a single drop of sweat. The heat required his utmost concentration to overcome, and wasting any energy would break that concentration and reduce his travel time by even days. It was a complex internal struggle between his brain, slowly starving itself by burning off as little energy as possible to even do things that come naturally, and his spirit, which cried in pain at the suppression of every body function and process that he was actively accustomed to.
Coming out of this trance would cause him to lapse all the exhaustion he had been shrugging off this entire time. At once. Many of his Loxo kin survived their treks across the plains of Wrightfall to collapse at the finish line, the exhaustion of traveling for days and days whilst loaded with hundreds of pounds of gear and supplies coming rushing to them in a matter of minutes. He had come too far to die in a desert. He knew his destiny.
It was told in bones. He would die in battle, drenched in the blood of his enemies. His skin would scarlet and his eyes turn black, achieving a state the Loxodon referred to as Golgari: A troll of death. To die in this state would be to battle for eternity in the afterlife, which seemed rapidly approaching at this point. He was unsure how he would achieve this goal at this point, however. He was no Golgari when he died. A blow to the back he never saw coming blew him away. He was of royal blood. It was almost shameful to die the death of a commoner of his people. But now, he had an entire new life, the afterlife, to prove to his ancients that he was royal blood and he would die as his sages had told him: kicking and screaming.

Xiuyin followed a few steps behind Rorfen. Unlike her elephantine companion, she wasn't exactly faring too well in the heat. She lived in an area that was much cooler than this. If only this were a frozen wasteland. She would most likely fare so much better than this heat. She knew that she had to keep up, though. If there was one thing that she didn't want, it was the notion of being lost in the desert.

Despite the heat, though, she could feel the wind pushing her along, making it easier for her to walk. As if it were trying to help her. At the sound of Rin's voice, she picked up her pace a little bit. It would be nice to rest and cool down a little bit after the trek. She wasn't quite used to all this walking, being the type that usually hitched rides in carriages and carts to get from place to place.

((Curses for shortnesss...but my next shall make up for it XD))

"So...it just all comes down to survival of the fittest. Sounds like my kind of world." Arell smirked at the idea of this rule, and nodded to acknowledge that he no longer has any more questions that needed an answer. With that being said and done, flexed his muscles for a little bit, and did a few exercises to losen his body up. He is now ready for immense training to begin, and he shall start by learning how to survive with his powers. What's the point of learning all of this if he can't even get the hydration from his own ability? He awaited patiently for Tachi's instructions, and prepared himself. He didn't bother calling his weapons, since he doesn't really need them yet.

Wind Sector

-Tachi yawned as he watched the male beginning to do some sort of warm up exercise. Did he think that they were going to spar? A smirk formed across the male's lips as he leaned in close, continually watching the male stretch. He knew Arell was not going to like what was in store after just figuring out his element. The male crossed his legs and lifted his hands in front of his chest as if he was holding an invisible orb. His posture straightened and seemed as if he was readying himself for something.-

"Well Arell, we aren't going to be fighting." He began. "Instead...I want you to sit down in front of me and meditate."

-Tachi's eyes closed while his body began to relax, though never slack. It didn't seem as if anything was happening until the gravel under his body began to rotate clockwise. It continued like this until a circle formed under his body, green letters and symbols materialized in an ancient demonic text. Wind began to pick up around his body, though in a calm demeanor. Just then, Tachi's body began to rise slowly and hovered just a couple of inches from the ground. He could feel it...energy seeping into his body and replenishing what his body needed after the battle both of them had. Suddenly, the yokai opened his eyes and revealed his green hues were burning a bright green.-

"Arell...I want you to be able to do this. Replenish your energy just as I have. From there, we shall commence the basics..." Tachi said in a calm, lulling voice.

Meanwhile, back in the Desert

-Rin continually eyed behind her to make sure that the two were following her. After a couple of minutes, She had finally made it to the summit of the dune where her ball of energy disappeared. Slowing down her pace, the female's began to make her way around it, rather than through it. Moisture was thick here, she could smell it. It calmed her in a sense and gave her the feeling that she could over come any obstacle. After a couple of moments, the first signs of civilization caught her eyes.

Straw could be seen along with wood. They were scattered along the edges of the dune, but in some sort or order. It was as if it was a guide toward the the source of water she could smell. It was then she saw it, small shacks littering the shady side of the dune. Small dead trees provided very little shade, but it was sill something. Scanning the area, Rin then caught it, the body of water. It was like a pond, only alittle bigger. She smirked, finally...they could rest for a while before training was to commence. Hopefully, the yokai's around here wouldn't mind.-

"Seem's like we made it. Go have a drink if you so please." Rins said, turning around. Her eyes narrowed slightly, knowing the dark side she was about to reveal. "Just be warned, in this world the only way to survive is to be affiliated with an element. That means...If you aren't a water type user...you can't drink water."

Arell was getting pumped and ready for the exercise he needed to do. He actually wasn't expecting a spar. He was only loosening himself up since he's most likely going to be in one spot for a while. Learning how to channel energy within himself was one thing. But using it to replenish himself with his own energy? That's an entirely different story. Being a physical fighter that he's always been, Arell wasn't really all that great when it came to casting spells. It just wasn't his strong suit compared to his amazing fighting ability. When Tachi told him what he must do, he observed how his teacher was using the energy to gather everything he needed. When he saw him open his eyes, he had an entirely different look on him...he looked like he is fully rejuvenated...and he did all that through meditation?

Shrugging his shoulders, Arell sat down to give it a try..he knew how to manipulate wind so far, so how hard could it be?

Harder than he can imagine...

Arell sat there in that same spot, trying to calm his mind. But nothing wasn't clicking. He channeled the wind energy in his body, but all that ever did was caused several gusts of wind to spiral out of nowhere. Dust kicked up from the ground, and the cloths that linger on Arell's armor blew in the wind itself. It was becoming pretty obvious that Arell was getting frustrated because...as time passed on, the winds became stronger. Stronger to the point that it was getting deadly.
