Well, the Guardians were originally formed by scientist studying mutant lifeforms, though not necessarily human mutants. In fact, since those were pretty rare for the most part of history, a lot of those scientists studied newly discovered animals and plants, some of which could be considered "mutants" of another normal specie.
Although most of the bases nowadays only keep humanoid mutants, some still host a few species of creatures, that couldn't just be left loose in the area for obvious destructive reason.

Name: Jordan “Danny” McKellen

Sex: Female

Age: 16

Faction: Guardians

Mutation(s): Spliced with puma DNA. She retains animalistic features that allow for enhanced senses. However it means that she cannot blend in with humans or sigdasig beings.
Zoanthropy - Jordan can take the shape of a puma/human hybrid. This usually occurs during periods of great stress, anger, or other strong emotions. She has no control over this power otherwise. She usually reverts back once she’s had a chance to calm down.
Can communicate (to a limited degree) with members of the Felis family. (Domestic cats, pumas, bobcats, lynx, etc.)

Description: Jordan stands at the average height of 5'6". Her build is lean, on the verge of lanky. Her short hair is a golden brown color. Her nails are thinker than most humans, ending in a slight hint of a point. Jordan’s iris’s are wider than a humans’, and completely remove any trace of white. The pupils, however, remain round. They are a golden brown color, and reflect light as a cat’s does in the dark. Her ears are placed slightly higher on her skull, and are feline in appearance. The young woman sports a heavy tail, allowing balance. Jordan only possesses eight toes, four on each foot, and is only capable of digitigrades movement. She wears loose clothing, to allow for better maneuverability, and to accommodate for unexpected transformations. She is particularly fond of wearing tank tops. Her clothing, now, is a variety of dark, earthy colors of greens and browns, sometimes blacks and grays. She is perpetually barefoot, since shoes do not fit her feet properly.

Introverted and reclusive by nature, Jordan doesn’t spend a lot of time with people. She will attempt to be friendly with people that outright afraid of her. She tends to shy away from large groups and loud areas. Having been blended with a large amount of animal DNA, she also has a mild case of schizophrenia. She will periodically argue with her bestial half when their interests collide or their opinions differ.

Transformed, Jordan looks like a huge puma. The most noticeable differences between her and her base species, besides the difference in size, is in her forepaws. While still classified as paws, her toes resemble stubby fingers. This form does not possess a dewclaw, allowing her to keep the use of her thumbs.

Biography: Jordan was created in an experimental military facility. Their goal was to create superhuman soldiers, spies, etc. that possessed the superior attributes of animals, but were still capable of blending into human society. Many attempts never made it out of the labs alive due to crippling birth defects. Of the ones that did survive, a majority of the subjects were considered unsuccessful. Too many possessed features that gave away their inhuman qualities. Jordan is one of the failed experiments.

She, like the others were raised like semi normal children. They went to classes as often as they visited the labs. They were not necessarily taught how to kill, but the chances of situations where that would happen were pretty high. The ones that weren’t expected to be used as soldiers or other offensive personnel were trained to defend themselves or others.
The project as eventually deemed a failure. They lost their funding and needed to place the mutants that didn’t fit in with the norms. Some were euthanized; some were placed in other facilities. The rest were released to fend for themselves. Jordan was fortunate enough to find haven with the Guardians, shortly after her release.

Other: While not technically an allergy, plants in the mint family, including catnip, make Jordan dizzy, almost to the point being stoned. Severity of the reaction depends on how much she is around and how long she is around it. Her human-ish form is actually much heavier than it looks. Scrawny as she is, Jordan weighs close to 220 lbs. Mass cannot simply appear or disappear after transformations, her muscles and bones are condensed when not in her bestial form.

Oh yes... I kind of want Corvus's introduction into the roleplay to be the same as it was in the old RP. Just to let you guys know...

Name: Dr. Anne-Marie Black

Description: Dr. Black is 5 feet 8 inches tall for a proportional weight. She has long wavy blond hair going down to her shoulder blades, which she kept tied in a loose ponytail when she works. She has deep green eyes, and normally wears a pair of squared glasses to correct her poor natural eyesight. She normally wear a simple black pants and dark sweater combo, with few accessories, and can often be seen wearing a lab coat above it.
Anne-Marie is generally pretty friendly, treating most of the mutants of the base like members of her family. She is however professional in her work, thus she can look a bit cold at time if someone distracts her from it. She is somewhat of a workaholic and is generally very well organized. In fact, she doesn't like chaos, although she can react quite well in stressful situations (mostly because of past experiences). She has a tendency to be pretty secretive about her own life and past, and respects the people who don't wish to share their story.

Biography: Dr. Black was raised in a mutant lab, although she is not a mutant herself. Her parents just happened to both work for a secret lab, her father being in charge of the security while her mother was the assistant of a researcher. She grew up around mutants and always felt good around them... well, most of them.
When she was 15 years old, the lab was destroyed by something, mutants probably. Her parents disappeared that day, although it was suspected that her father was still alive but working for the military somewhere else. Nevertheless, she ended up in a private school, far away from everything she knew. She never really talked about her life prior to that point, and dislikes remembering it.
When she was old enough, Anne-Marie decided to study in biology, mostly in genetics (for obvious reason). Her good grades earned her a job for a leading scientist in the field of mutations. After a few years, she was contacted by the authorities of the Guardians and offered a job as researcher in one of their bases. The thought of being around mutants once more was appealing, and she quickly accepted.
After a few years of loyal services, the director of a base in the North-Eastern USA retired, and she applied for it. Since that base was focussed toward genetic studies, the Guardians authorities thought she would be the best person to watch over it, and she ended up as the director for the base.

Who said I wasn't working on a male profile. I don't play guys well that often at least not straight ones but I can play a guy if need be and was considering trying it out for this rp.
