| My parent's car has been robbed recently. Nothing special was stolen. Only a few dollars for bridge passing.
And the mystery creature who comes at night to dig up all our potatoes and eat all the pretty flowers we have planted OTL

| Wow, talk about bad luck. Sorry to hear about the unforunate events.
I myself have been robbed once. But I was like, 14? And it was my best friend at the time that took my money. Mind you, it was only about $20! I just rememeber her coming over in the morning before school so that we could walk to school together. She noticed my money and asked me what I was going to do with it. I told her I was saving up for something (don't remember what). She mentioned she didn't have any money and that she wished she did.
So then we get to school and have about thirty minutes to spare, right? Well she pulls out some money and starts buying candy from the vending machine. I confronted her and asked, "I thought you didn't have any money." She said she forgot she had a few dollars. She even offered to buy me something. I told her no of course. She ended up buying a few of her other friends some candy instead.
After school I do my paper route, get my paycheck, come home and go to put my money in my box. I find the $20 missing and finally I start to understand things. I called her up that day and her mom answered the phone. Her mother never really like me, fyi. But she did believe that her daughter did take my money; and eventually gets my friend to confess anyhow. Her mother sends her to my house the next morning to give me back $20.
Now the stupid part? I felt bad (even though she's the criminal here), so I gave her $5 to spend on candy. :/ I'm so lame, haha.

| I remember that someone tried to rob our flat when I was a kid, but our door lock was so tricky that robbers couldn't open it and left xD
And once I had my cell-phone stolen in the bus. Good that my cell was pretty old.

| Wow, that's awful. D: Who would do that?
Thankfully I have yet to be robbed except of pencils and erasers and the like, but I had a small scare last weekend at the mall. Lost my wallet (with driver's permit, credit card, and cash inside) and, given the general shadyness of the mall we assumed somebody would've stolen SOMETHING from it by the time we found it--but nope, thankfully some good person turned it in with everything in place.

| Me and my family were robbed once, when I was younger. I do not remember all the details of that night but I remember the horrible feeling I had.
We had gone out with a couple of my friends for something (we might of went to a movie, like I said don't remember the details). I was the last one out our front door so I was asked to close it (it was already set to lock itself). Being that young, I had a tendency to forget things and get yelled at for it. A prime example would be closing and locking my bedroom window.
Anyway, when we returned our front door was cracked open. Me and my friends were the first to go in. There were cds all over the floor, other things laying around. I remember questioning if my mom had been cleaning or re-organizing things. When my parents walked in they said we had been robbed. The feeling I had when they said it was awful. I feared I had not closed the door all the way like I should of and it was my fault. I collapsed on our couch and balled my eyes out.
The police came and my parents searched the house for what was missing. The thieves had stolen many of our cds, most of my PS1 games, and one of my dad's bows. They had kicked open the door and in attempt to get all of the cds out went out our back door and left a trail of cds and games in the back yard. Even though they had broke down the door, I still felt horrible.

| Nothing was stolen, but I was home when someone attempted to break in.
I was sitting in the living room, playing World of Warcraft at the time when I heard something. Now, I was in an apartment at the time so I assumed that it was just one of the neighbors doing something that made a lot of noise. It wasn't to loud so I didn't really worry about it, not to mention that I was more then a little afraid of the drunk that lived behind us. ((He use to make threats outside of out bedroom window when we were trying to sleep.))
I digress though. Well, I heard something again, this time it sounded like a kind of splintering sound. My Great Dane was acting very oddly. She was agitated. So I went to look in our room ((a door lead there)), and the wood on the door was splintered. I didn't notice that the glass had been shattered at the time. I immediately went to call the cops.
I realized while I was on the phone with the police that the person was still there, so I went to stand on the front porch. There were people next to us that were home, and there was a street in the middle of daylight, it was not likely the fool would attack me in that situation.
Well, my ANCIENT neighbor went to the back of the house when he heard that he was back there. It really sucked because he scared the guy off right as the police were coming up.
The police later saw the guy scaling a fence that was topped with barbwire like he was spider man, so he was hopped up on something.

| I have never been robbed, intentionally. Indirectly, yes. I left my jacket in my school's cafeteria, and I never saw it again. ):

| Oh, I'm sorry about that.
Once. See, my mom and I recently moved and are renting our old house cuz the neighborhood's so bad we can't sell it. Well, right before this giirl and her son moved in, our crack-head neighbors broke in and stole everything. It wasn't much; just curtain and things like that, but it ended up costing a whole lot. I was sooooo mad. >

| Well, not exactly.
I was sitting in my old apartment one day playing World of Warcraft. My husband was at work so it was just me, my Great Dane, and my cat. We did not live in the best part of town, but we had not thought that it was as bad as it turned out to be. The place really started to go down hill.
While I was at home my dog started to act really odd. I hadn't heard anything at first, so I just thought it was one of our neighbors messing around in their apartment. After a little while longer, though, I heard something. It was like a cracking noise. When I went into my bedroom, which is where the noise had come from, the window on the door that lead into it from the outside had been broken.
Needless to say I was scared. I'm not even going to lie about that. I immediately went back into the front of the house and called the cops. I then went onto the front porch because my neighbor, Sam, was normally on the front porch. So I figured it was the best place for me to be. After I called the police and they were on the way, I also called my husband and he rushed home. He worked only about 15 minutes from where we lived at the time.
The guy had pretty much destroyed the door trying to get into my house, and the neighbor scared him off just as the police were getting there. Apparently, though, the guy was jumped up on something because he scaled a 6 foot, bar wire toped, chain link fence like he was spider man. That was according to the officer.
Needless to say, we started house shopping immediately after that.
