Lotus Festival Roleplay '10!

[Huo Lien]

"Oh, you're welcome!" Lien laughed, feeling bubbly at Silver's excitement. She glanced at her son and found a rare sight. He was watching them at a distance; that was normal, but there was a very slight smile on his lips. Even she couldn't tell what the meaning of that smile was, but she didn't ask him.

"Well, Jin and I will be on our way. Good luck with your ceremony, Silver." She grinned and followed her son through the crowd.

Kindall shoved his way eagerly into the festival, grinning widely. "This is gonna be so cool! I'll tell Zippo sorry later." he muttered, his round face excited. His eyes traveled everywhere but the place in front of his feet, and his face impacted someone. The boy fell over with a squeak and looked up. "Hello! Sorry about that!" the eight-year-old said as he hurried to stand back up.

Kylana hunched over her notebook, consulting the notes she had collected on Midorea's lotus population. She had planned to make it out last year for the festival but winter dragged on too long for her to travel here safely.

Rhee grinned silver's excitment was infectious.
"okay" Rhee started off at a brisk pace egar to get the blood floowing.
"Should we provide both blooms and blossoms? I've got a few carrots and apples in my bag as well. and we can forage in the forest."
Rhee started to trot towards the forest, excitment shivering through her.

Eclipse stayed near the edges of the crowd, two of her wings still bleeding, the one in the crude bracer was hurting again. She walked on, limping on one leg, with the other at least up slightly. She hoped the makeshift crutches wouldn't slip beneath her as she walked on.

Luna saw people coming towards her to gawk at her, she didn't like that. The wolf got low to the ground and pounced, spreading her wings and flying above the stalls, but not too far up in the air.

Distracted from the person he had run into, Kindall looked up as a shadow passed overhead. "Whoa..." he whispered as dark blue eyes followed. His dirty blond hair blew in the wind and he giggled. "This is so cool!" he exclaimed as he followed the flying wolf, eager to say hello.

Luna continued flying low over the street, and took this chance to look around.

Chuckling, Tu placed a hand on the boy's head. "Oh, it's quite alright. Where are your parents, young one?"

Altair carefully applied the potion just the way she had been told, a slight wisp or steam rising from the torn flesh of her arm as the purple liquid was poured over it. She expected pain or aching or something and even flinched slightly, but only a soothing, cool sensation could be felt all along her arm as the wound suddenly began to heal.

Within minutes, only a slight scar could be seen where the gash had been and the girl sighed with relief as she felt the numbness all over her body dissipate. She nodded to the strange, deer-like creature that had approached her, smiling broadly, "Oh, I'm fine now..."

It was only then that she realized the well-dressed pair had moved off. She watched them as they walked away before suddenly jumping to her feet, the empty vial still in hand, "Uhm...excuse me a moment..."

Hurrying after the woman and her son, Altair reached gingerly into the little pouch tied around her waste and pulled out what appeared to be a brightly-colored ribbon. "Wait!" she called to the woman--she was somewhat afraid of the man. Catching up to the pair, she paused a few feet from them and held out the ribbon, murmuring quietly to Huo Lien as she did so, "..I would like to offer your son for his help, but I don't think he would accept it.." She watched the man out of the corner of her eye, but seemed determined not look at him..

Kindall looked up after letting his eyes follow the flying wolf. "They're at home. I came all by myself. My trainer didn't catch me fast enough." He grinned widely. "Zippo is my trainer, he's really nice." he added, a slight bruise visible on his cheek. "I'm getting closer to beating him!" The boy was rambling now, and looked very excited. He could hardly keep his eyes in one place.

Lien turned around with surprise. She giggled and accepted the ribbon. "Oh, why thank you." She gently put it away and glanced back at her son, who was still walking away. She turned back around and winked at the girl. "I'll present it to him when he's in a better mood. Stay safe, dear!"

Glancing into the crowd, Lien caught a glimpse of Tu. "And hello, Tu, dear!" She called, waving to him with a grin. Before anyone could reply she went to catch up with Jin.

[Di-Qiu Tu]

"Oh, I see." Tu replied, entertained by the energetic little boy. "Would you like something to eat then? Or maybe a toy?" The man couldn't deny it: He loved children, even if they did overwhelm him at times.

Hearing his name being called by Lien, Tu smiled and waved casually at her retreating form. "Cheerful as always, I see." He quietly; mainly to himself.

Eclipse hadn't been paying enough attention to where she was going and bumped into a male. She fell down without a sound, but her leg screamed in pain. "Sorry..." She looked up at the male. His ears were pointed, some of his black hair put up in a bun-like style, and he donned clothing that were shades of red.

Luna kept flying over the street.

Calling out to the woman, Kindall waved. "Bye, lady I don't know yet!" he shouted, then looked up at Tu, eyes wide and eager. "Snack? Toy?" he asked, his large eyes hopeful as he danced from foot to foot, unable to contain his excitement. "That'd be really nice, Mister! Oh! I'm Kinny, by the way. Well, Kindall, but I like being called Kinny more."

Silver nods his head and start off into a run with a smile on his face. He let out a joyful laugh as he ran by humans along with other creatures before running towards the forset area. HIs tail twitching happily with exicetment as he starts to look around. Hooves use to dig up some of the roots in the area, his tail twitching madly with exciement before poking his head into a hole of a tree and then unsticking a bit.

"AYY YIIIEEE BEES!!" He ran away from the tree with some honey stuck on his face.

As he ran away he trips over a rock sending him tumble down towards the Lotus tree. He whacks a bit straight into the said tree, eyes dizzy he look up at it. IT WAS BIG along with HUGE, a smile spread across his face.

"RHEE! I FOUND THE PERFECT TREE FOR THAT DRAGON SCALE!! COME LOOK AT THIS TREE!!" He said happily looking at it. He walks around it slowly while over looking it with a smile and an awa of wonder on his face.
