Promotions???

Just curious about the promotion system.

Town Place > Training Grounds > Promotion

It just says "There is no promotion are available for your current class and characteristics". What exactly does that mean, and when if at all is this going to be implemented.

How does someone get a promotion? Is it a level thing, or only curtain classes can use it, or what?

i cant answer this question, but i have more to add to it:

is there anywhere we can see what classes have what promotions & at what level/stats?

also im very confused, on my mule i made my character a bard and she could never get a promotion so far. i changed her class to theif to see if that had any promotions, and it did - but its promotion was a bard? which i find very confusing, as thats more a step sideways than a step up XD

There are prestige classes you can unlock at certain times. (i'm not sure what they are) But they are there. Some has stat requirments or class/race ones but that's what that is for.
