| Once upon a time, beyond the far away forest lands of Kléve, was the kingdom of Royod. This was a seemingly peaceful kingdom ruled harshly by his majesty, King Victor. Of course with any rule there are always people who disagree and rebel. Therefore, couldn't you say this is the story of how an alliance of outcasts strengthen their forbidden talents to take over and win back what should really belong to them in the first place?
Let's start from the beginning shall we. Long long ago, waged an unseen war between a father ( King Lucus, of Royod) and his son (the first in line, Prince Victor). Like all wars it began over the distributional of power. Prince Victor, defied his father by starting an elite army of Noble Elemental Soldiers without his father's consent. This Elite army may have sounded like not a bad idea, but Victor's plans were to forbid anyone to use their Elements unless they were of Royal, Noble, or Official Soldier status. Women although, were completely shunned from society and kept put mostly in the Peasant Class because Victor looked down upon women. When King Lucas found out about what his son had been secretly devising the fight began.
The villagers of Kléve did not hear anything about what exactly was happening within the Royal Castle, but they did in fact have their suspicions behind what was occurring. When the next day came, their worst fears had come true. Their amazing King Lucas was found dead, the cause being of "old age," and Victor was pronounced King. This new title brought happiness to very few villagers, but most detested the fact that Victor should deserve the crown. With Victor as King everything soon became a nightmare. His royal decrees brought the kingdom into dark times, as he changed all his father's previous laws to meet his own discriminating standards. To Victor things were to be one way and that was his way only. Only most of the highest Noble men and women stayed the most loyal to Victor. While the others kept some distance and lived in fear that they would be somehow exiled out for not keeping to King Victor's such high expectations and demands. His first rule of order was that only Royalty, Noblemen, and Official Elite Soldiers were allowed to use their elements for combat and other purposes. Anyone else was forbidden and treason on this account would end in a fate far worse than death.
Prince Alastad, whom had been second in line for the throne (behind Victor, his brother) broke away from King Victor and his cruel high class rule because he fell in love with a Peasant woman. This feeble woman, as Victor unjustly accused her, opened Alastad's eyes to the reality behind his brother's terrible actions and decrees. Once away from it all, Alastad settled down with his new wife Leah and raised a family of his own away from all Victor's chaos. As the new decrees continued terrorizing the villagers, an alliance soon became known as Roysh, lead by Alastad himself. The location of this rebellion alliance was in the Mountain lands west of King Victor's Castle.
Seventeen years later, the Roysh Rebellion currently still resides secret in the Mountain lands surrounding Royod, with the all mighty and outstanding Alastad as their leader. They are strong and powerful, but still work to strengthen their forces and grow in numbers. Not to mention, the stories of the war circle around to this day quietly against King Victor's wishes of course. Now a new generation has begun to realize that some of them hold Elements as well, but they will have to choose their own sides. It is coming time for the war to begin again, but this time the Roysh Rebellion can actually fight for what is right. Friendships will be torn, relationships will develop, hatred and love will rage, but what will turn out in the end? You are writing the story now.
