Misunderstood-- {Kiroro and Kairie}

[Kairie]

Kai walked outside, then sat under a tree closing his eyes. He relaxed, listening to the voices around him. It always surprised him what the mortals thought was important. He'd learned in his time that there isn't much to think that was important.

[kiroro]

'I wonder where he went,' Sarah thought as she walked out of the cafeteria, 'Outside?' and she walked out the doors that lead to the courtyards.

[Kairie]

Kai sighed. It wasn't very comfortable here. He looked up into the trees, as a slight breeze began, blowing the leaves.

[kiroro]

"Oh, I found him," Sarah said to herself, spotting the boy under the tree. Kai seemed pretty relaxed at the moment, and she wasn't sure if she should go and talk to him again. Would he mind?

[Kairie]

Kai sighed, he was really bored. He stood up, dusting his self off. He looked and saw Sarah. 'Probably here to ignore me, just like everyone else.' He thought to himself. He felt sorta hurt, he had actually began liking her, even if it was just a short period of time.

[kiroro]

"Oh," She saw him look her way as he stood up, she smiled and waved at him.

[Kairie]

Kai waved back at Sarah a little confused. He decided it couldn't hurt to walk over and see if she was talking to him. He walked over, smiling softly at her. "Hey." He said.

[kiroro]

"Hey," Sarah smiled, for some reason she had thought that he wouldn't have wanted to talk to her anymore because of Ash taking her away. "Um, sorry about Ashley and all that."

[Kairie]

Kai shrugged. "I'm used to it, I sorta thought you were going to ignore me." He said, looking down. "Seeing as everyone else does."

[kiroro]

"This isn't a good thing to be used to though. No one should be ignored like that just because they're new or different," Sarah sighed, "Plus, I'm not like the rest of these people here, they're so, I don't know how to put it, really."

[Kairie]

Kai shrugged. "But it's not a bad thing either." He replied. "And I can tell your different than others." He said looking at her. A thought flickered in his head, that maybe she'd accept the true him, but he quickly dismissed that thought. No one would accept him, not in his life time.

[kiroro]

Sarah smiled at him, "That's good, because honestly, with they way they've all been acting, I hope I'm nothing at all like them," Sarah started to fiddle with the end of her shirt a little, "Well, lunch is almost over," she said, "Where do you have to go next?"

[Kairie]

"I have science next." He said deciding to end the other conversation. "What about you?" He asked. He rana hand through his hair. He felt nervous.

[kiroro]

"Oh, I have art next," Sarah was finiding herself without much to say, and looked around the courtyard. Some people were staring at them and some were minding there own business, "So, we only have english together then?" and then the bell rung. "Oh yea!" Sarah remembered something from that morning, "Speaking of english, in class, you didn't seem to be paying attention too much. I mean, it's understandable with you being new and all and we've already made it so far in the semester, well, you see, if you need help with anything, you could always ask me," she offered with a smile, "Or, and, even if I don't get it, I guess we could try to help each other?"

[Kairie]

Kai nodded smiling. "Yeah english might be our only class together, but that's okay." He said smiling. "Because we have lunch, and any other time, well that's if you want to talk to me, I know I come off as a bit strange." He said blushing slightly, but it was varely noticable. "And I'll be sure to talk to you if I need help, and if you need help feel free to ask, I'm a lot smarter than I look." He said winking at her.
