Is anyone here a gamer?

I'm a now and again gamer. I usually stick to games of good quality and usually only play role-playing games (fantasy/sci-fi mix). My favorite games have been Kingdom Hearts, KH2, and Final Fantasy XII (I've only played the one). These have such incredible graphics.

The only game console I have is a PS2. Since I don't play that much, I have little need to update the gaming system.

I do wish I had kept the Nintendo 64 though. A favorite from that system is Zelda.

However I have slowed down on playing recently. . . I am thinking of connecting to the internet to play online.

Hiroku: the only probs with that is that I think you have to have gold membership (Which Is a paid subscription) to play online, whereas for silver you just need to connect to the internet and that will allow you to download demos etc. When I had gold i barely used it so y'know XD.

My favorite genres of games are FPS, RPG, and RTS.

I think my all time favorite games are L4D, Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Practically all of the FF games, and PSU: Ambition of the Illuminus.

I play video games quite a bit. One of my favorite games is Super Smash Bros Brawl for the Wii. Fable for the Xbox is another of my favorites.

I like to think of myself as a gamer, though I probably wouldn't be able to compare with most of you guys.

I play on a variety of different things.

I use my computer most of the time. The only online games I've actually devoted any ammount of my time to were games I didn't have to pay for monthly. So I basically play Diablo II and Guild Wars. I do have a WoW account, but I never used it once my subscription ran out. I think I used to have an Everquest account too, but it's the same as my WoW accout.

I also own, or live in a house with a PS2, a Gamecube, a SNES, a PSP (But it recently broke) and a handful of gameboys. I'm pondering over getting an Xbox. But that would have to wait until I actually have money again.

I prefer RPGs to anything else. Though, I'm beginning to think the creativity barrel is about dried up. Once in a while I'll find something out of left field. I like Rock Band and DDR.

I also enjoy tabletop games and other RPGs, like Warhammer and Dungeons and Dragons (3rd Edition. I can't afford to get new books.). I can't seen to find anyone here that plays, though.

I'm a "sometimes" gamer. I will take out a game and play with it on that odd occasion when I feel like it, when there's a party, or when classmates get bored in the computer lab :P

I like:
- City builders and sandbox games (i.e. Sim games)
- Team/deathmatch FPSs (sadly, my friends are not always interested) Team Fortress 2 anyone? I mostly play Pyro and Medic.
- Party games like Wii games or Rock Band
- and to a lesser extent, action/platformers, and war-game RTSs

I've also tried a few MMOs, but Ragnarok Online is the only one I ever fell in love with. I guess I liked the simplicity and cute graphics, and I had two good RL friends playing with me at the same time. I'm trying to get back into it again, but it's a fuss getting it to work and getting online at the same time as people. *keeps trying*

I'm not really sure Im considered a Gamer. I like pokemon games mostly, (I know so bad huh?)

But I liked Fighting games and racing themes. I'm okay at Soul caliber 2 for PS2 and I can play RPG games on the DS. I have Mana tree witch is not bad at all really. I want to get some learning games to write more then english language

I'm not as much of a gamer as I was a year ago and past. I'm into RPG games. I love Final Fantasy games, the Kingdom hearts ones. Castlevania games are awesome and the soundtracks are amazing.

I have played Pokemon games since I was a kid, and I've played all the hand-held console ones. Pokemon Snap for N64, Kirby and the Crystal Shards, Mario 64. The Mario Party series is fun, especially with friends

I played Guild Wars with friends for awhile, but it was so time-consuming and I got too addicted :/ They were all pro players, and I was a noob, so sometimes I would feel left out.

i mostly play Jrpgs, Final Fantasy, Lost Odyssey, Eternal Sonata...

back in PS1 days i loved my platformers - Spyro, Crash Bandicoot (tho i sucked at it)

way before that i always played as Tails in the sonic games with my brother ^^

but my 2 favourite games of ALL time? Monster Rancher on PS1 and Vib-Ribbon.

Anywhozle I like jrpgs too finial fantasy is a favorate though I also really like Lucifer's Call, which is a PS2 game. But it's really good, quite freaky becasue the only sound in it is music and some noises. It similar (sound-wise) to pokemon games for the gameboy. Yet much more serious in intonation.

erm spyro and crash are a must I think lol. Everyone has to have at least tried them XD

Oh the sega megadrive lol You can actually get all the original sonic games on the 360 as arcade games. I have castlevania in that way.

theyre still really unique now, i think! whens the last time you saw a game come out that uses other discs in the gameplay? like... never x0x *cry* Vib-Ribbon is just intense XD and the music you get with it is soooo cute! and monster rancher is finally coming out on DS in english soon, im definitely gonna get it ^^

yea, we have all the old sonic games and stuff like that on the 360 i think and HAD them on a PSP, but toby sold the whole lot haha.

ohhhh anyone remember Abe's Oddyssy? i think i spelt that wrong. lol. but damn that game was disturbingly awesome.
