This has been a good day/bad day because...thread

This is NOT a one liner thread. I want to know why your day has been good or bad, and I want details. Nosy? You betcha! I figure it'll help me get to know some of you pretty well too, since I'll be getting a look into your life. Heck, treat this tread a bit like a rant/rave diary if you want. ^_^

I'll start

Today I got woken up at about six am by my boyfriend. I'd recently applied to his jobplace after quitting my own (that was a very BAD day, I might add, but it was for the best because oh, the employee abuse that went on THERE...*gruff* Anyhow back out of these brackets.) about 4 days ago and they'd not called me back. The boy let me know that they'd just fired two people for incompetence and were willing to hire me. Not only that but they wanted me to start today around noon/one if I possibly could. Now, he works at a sandwich/ice cream/breakfast diner for truckers, so noon is going to be throwing me into the thick of things, if I go today, but then again it's a good opportunity for me to learn. I think it's going to be a good day. We'll see when I get home, Hah!

Also my roommate got a job yesterday and HE starts today too. SO we both went from being jobless to having a job within a week of unemployment. I think that constitutes as a good week. ^_^

Goodluck with all that. I applied for a job a while back, so I'm hoping I can get it because practically everyone in town applied for the same job.

I woke-up to my kitten pouncing on my feet, half-asleep-half-awake I didn't know what it was so I kept wiggling my toes until I realized. My mom goes to work real early, but when she's off she'll cook a little something for breakfast. So, I was surprised to smell bacon and went to investigate. It turns out my dad cooked. He said he saved me a plate, but I have no interest in eating it. I don't really like breakfast. And now here I am online, putting off washing my clothes. I've had a pretty neutral morning.

What job was it you applied for? I hope you get it; it can be hard in this economy!

I wasn't a breakfast person either until my boyfriend moved in. He's forced me to start eating more, and earlier in the day so breakfast food has become more a routine. It's helped me lose weight though. My metabolism's up.

I applied for a job at Little Ceaser's, a pizza place. I'm pretty sure I won't get it though, but I guess there's some hope considering they just opened up and may be desperate for employees.

It's not that I'm not a breakfast person, it's just... I don't like most breakfast foods. xD; Like eggs, ugh. The taste of them just makes me want to vomit. Bacon is OK, but in most cases it's too greasy or too dry or too crunchy. I'm probably the only person on Earth that doesn't like bacon. D:

Urgh. That's a lie, I like it. I just... don't like it. It's a very complicated relationship. xD;

I guess toast is OK, and orange juice... I don't like milk, but cereal is fine. Hrm. I think maybe I just don't like my dad's cooking. He cooked eggs last time and they were so awful... Dx Poor guy. c:

Lol I like eggs but that's because Jon makes em good, and I like bacon really crunchy. Especially if it's on a turkey sammich. Mmmm sammich.

I really hope you get the job. You might; always hope for the best after all. It pays to stay optimistic.

And hey even if you don't get that one, I'm sure you'll find something else. There have to be other things out there you can do. ^_^

I don't mind where I work, as long as it isn't with a bunch of people I know. Maybe if it were people I was close to, but these are just people I know. I was thinking about applying at McDonalds or maybe somewhere else. But, idk. If it doesn't work out with Little Ceaser's I'll send in a bunch of applications everywhere else that suits my fancy. :3

I like my bacon squishy and soft. Which probably isn't good, since that means it's not fully cooked. xD;

My day was pleasant. I had school which was just okay haha. But no one has called to look at the house yet *knock on wood* so I get to stay home for right now haha : ) Which is awesome because all weekend we were out and about and doing stuff because people wanted to look at the house.

That sounds awesome, Ducky! I just got back from filliong out paperwork, brought home some mcdonalds to munch on with my roommate, and am resting now.

Speaking of my roommate, he was screaming song lyrics at passing cars half the way home. I just kind of coughlaughed hard enough that I had a bit of a headache for a while XD

I think Imma eat some mint chocolate chip ice cream in a few. I'm in such a good mood. If you guys had met me last week you'd think I was a different person lol.

Well you see my day just took a turn for the worse. I just realized my 8 page research paper is due tomorrow. I finished 6 pages, but I can't seem to add anymore... There really isn't anything else to say and I don't want to sit here and add BS that will waste my time and my teachers time.

It took forever to even find my latest draft of it because I forgot I had used the laptop for it. So I had to go get it and email it to myself. Sounds easy right? Not so much since this laptop is pretty much the stupidest laptop ever. It has to be plugged in to connect to the internet at all. So it took 20 minutes to connect to the internet and I finally did and now I'm working on it...

My boyfriend is helping me out though, which is really sweet of him. But it still makes me really mad that I have to write 2 more pages when I don't have enough information. And he also assigned 4 chapters of the kiterunner to read tonight. And I don't know if I'll even get to those... SO MUCH HOMEWORK... He doesn't know the meaning of "I have a life outside of school" or even "I have a life outside of your class"... He always assigns far too much homework and most people don't finish because it's impossible to... It just makes everyone really annoyed and mad.

Sorry I realized that kind of turned into a rant, but I kind of needed to get that out so that I might actually be able to think straight and get something done...

Hey that's what this thread's for. Can you maybe find some stuff online you can use to help pad the paper with? Two pages isn't as much as you'd think, at least not if you can think about something from a different angle and expand on it. I really hope you get it done. Also gawwwd that's a lot for one night's work. I don't even think I've read Kiterunner. It doesn't sound like my kind of book X3.

I'll let you get to it. I'm sure you guys'll think of something, and it really IS sweet that your boyfriend's helping as best as he can!

It is a good day because, I got to pay off 2 items that someone was holding for me on Ernya and I set up a art shop here. Plus I have money on Ernya to buy a third item that I wanted.

My mom and dad won't let me use the computer and T.V and my dsi...etc. etc. daily only for a day or two until I raise my grades.
