For items with multiple poses, do you have to buy multiple to access each pose (like 2 items= 2 poses available) or is it 1 item for every pose, like on Menewsha?

When you get one item, you get all the poses/forms that came with it.

What does "weight" have to do with items. Does that limit the amount I can equip?

Weight basically regulates what your character can carry, like any other RPG. Once you reach your limit, you can't carry any more stuff in your inventory. Most people have mules or secodary accounts to take care of this.
