Hahah, I'm still new to this site.. And I came across my Skills.. I don't understand how to use the majority of them though.. I was wondering if I could get like a guide or something that could show me -how- to use them.. Except the Forge one. I know how to use that, since I've broken so many butterfly swords already ._.

But like the Mining Skill- how does it work? As for the Stone Cutting, Enchanting, and the Theft Skill? o.O And better yet how do I use them e.o

I'm definitely not the best person to talk about the battle system and its workings. ^^ (Cause all I do is regular battling and all)

But you can train your skills by going to Character > Training > Train a Skill.
However, I think some are currently disabled. I know Theft is due to such a high level could get you free items.
I seriously dunno how to use them either. xD
I was thinking you'd use and train up Enchantment by using the magic spells and items from the shops in battle. However I'm not sure since I've never used any magics or anything. But thats what I've figured.
So your guess is as good as mine. ^^;;

Hah- okay. I'll... do that.. Even though my forge says 51/100 probably because I repaired stuff so many times... And experiment more than ever e.o It should be fun since I'm that kinda person ._.

Thanks anyways~

DO NOT TRAIN SKILLS! EVER!

The only one you can use for now is the forge skill. As Freshie said, the Theft skill was disable because of the problems it can create (getting free items, stealing other people items, etc.).

The Enchantment, Mining and Stone Cutting... bah, I don't know why they are disable, probably because it would be easy to abuse the system with them, or because Mido had no used for them. From what I know, the mining skill enables you to "mine" to find resources and the stone cutting is used to craft those resources in something useful (like raw iron into pure iron). The enchantment skill gives you a chance of enchanting weapons and items, making them more powerful or durable and things like that. But yeah, for now, they are useless.

Skill levels go up when you use the said skill, like you saw with your forging skill. A higher level gives you a bonus when using your skill, like the forge skill repairs more points and has less chances to miss, I think. You could always upgrade it if you want, but personally I find it useless, considering the amount of money it takes. It will go up anyway as you repair your things, and you can get a pretty good level just by selecting a good tribe and element (3-4, depending of what you pick).

So yeah, don,t train the other skills. Happy

XD Good point with the forging... ._. It takes so much to buy a stupid little hammer that fails 90% of the time, plus some of the weapons...

It's just better to buy new ones sometimes.. I don't know. It's all so confusing DX Almost worse then the last time I was actually on Midorea ._.

But, thanks to you both for trying to solve this horrid question that.. um.. Isn't answered in bold letters and kinda morphs sometimes- ^^;;

For newbie, I always recommend buying volleyballs first, until you can get a better weapon (old event weapons with 8 attack, or a tenro with 9 attack at 2000 at the weaponsmith).
The volleyballs only cost 5 silver, so therefore they are even cheaper than the newbie repair hammer (30 copper = 6 silver).
And once you get a good weapon, you can either go with newbie repair hammer (repair less but cost way less) or the super repair hammer or something like that. I think making a mix of the two would probably be the best, as the newbie hammers can be good to level up your forging skill first, and then you can move onto the bigger hammer to repair things more quickly.

Don't worry about the confusiness ^^ It goes away after a while, and only comes back when you read some of the strange things going on on the forums...

So yeah, if you have any question, just ask!

Its like you read my mind.

Idea: This is to Catghost or who ever does this stuff reenable the teft skill but make it only useable in battle.

@ Laviina: Yeah, seems like the failing rate doesn't change a lot from levelling up after all. From what I can see, anyway. Happy

@ Vidd: I think this has already been suggested somewhere. Or I guess it has been. The problem with this comes with PvP battles. I don't know if it's possible to allow a skill to be used in the battle system, but not in PvP fights. And it would suck to get your precious items stolen by someone else. <_<

I was thinking only being able to take battle Items and curency

or the higher your theft the more you make for winning.

Yeah, it could be nice. Happy

The only thing is I don't know how the ADR skills work. Like, for monster, it could just be stealing small battle items (potions maybe) and money, and the rewards get higher for better skills.
But for PvP, if it cannot be disable just for that part, it would be weird. Like, with stealing someone else items and money, it could create problem with ARIs and other rare items ('cause some of them are weapons and battle items). And if it was just the system that generates a small gift for the user using theft skill and the other person doesn't lose anything, well, it's not really theft... <_<

Anyway, I hope there will be a Battle System update soon and that some of the useless skills will be enabled.
