Winter Solstice Roleplay '09! - UPDATE: 1st post

[I walk with Time]

Luna gave up searching the city and instead flew back to where she'd left him. He wasn't there...by now she was starting to panic that he'd been attacked by something. She shook her head, dismissing all bad thoughts, hoping that somebody had come and found him. She flew back to the City and landed in human form. She was going to look for him on foot. She came to an Inn and looked inside. There he is! Luna thought, opening the door and going inside. She stayed by the door, wondering if he'd seen her or not.
He was there, still on the rock where she'd left him, but now there were two others there as well, Ice Dragons, too.

[Farfalla Hielo]

"Ah, that's why." Farfalla laughed, pulling a hand to her lips. She couldn't seem to supress her giggles as she spoke. "I have a knack for noticing such things, seeing how my daughter is bound to the moons as well." She was finally able to maintain a serious face, looking into Lunar's eyes as she spoke. "They are her power source, and she is ours." Suddenly she turned around. "Oh! Please, come over here. I've left this young lady far too long." As she walked across the room, the queen continued opening the present.

[I walk with Time]

Eclipse looked up as Her Majesty came walking back over with another woman at her side.

[Duro Lavoro]

Duro noddded. "I'm no doctor; it may just need ice, but it's better to take extra precautions. And yes, we usually don't accept silver but because of our honored guests we have decided to change that policy." He leaned down a bit next to Minh. "Uh... Is it okay to use me as a crutch?" The man was once again faced with the embarassing situation of possibly having to carry someone. It was bad enough to have someone leaning on him, but for the sake of someone's help, he wasn't bothered.

[Lunar]

Lunar gracefully accepted, and as she watched the Queen begin to open the box she began to explain as they walked.
"I am sure I do not need to tell you such things.. but this is a piece of Moonstone. You see how it glows ever so faintly..? If you leave it in the sun for a while, it can light up a whole pathway for you in the night."
She had to hitch her skirt up a little as they walked so as not to trip and cause a calamity.
"This was given to me by a priestess in the Horai lands in my travels, I figure, when I heard of your daughters tie to the great moons, I figured she would enjoy its purpose, or yourself even."

[Miyani-chan]

"Oh... okay.." Minh nodded, showing that he understood what he would probably need for his knee and showing that he understood about the currency. Once Duro offered him to use him as a crutch, he was surprised. He blinked a few times at him.
"Yes... it's okay.. but.. are you sure it's not too awkward for you?" Minh tilted his head, staring at him. He didn't want Duro to feel weird about it.

[I walk with Time]

Luna watched from the side of the doorway to the Inn. It seemed as if the male Ice Dragon was offering to be used as a crutch for Minh.
Luna landed inside the crystal tree grove, and watched from behind one of the trees.[/strike]

[Farfalla Hielo]

"Oh, it's beautiful." The queen smiled as she held the stone in her hand. It was cool even on her skin, and glistened faintly just as Lunar said. "Thank you for this thoughtful gift. I am sure that Eimara will love it as well."

Farfalla finally reached Eclipse and noticed the bouquet in her hands. "All of these for us?" She asked, smiling happily. She had hosted solstice balls many times before, but had never received such kind and thought out gifts as these. It was definitely a welcomed feeling, though she wished that Eimara could experience this too.

[I walk with Time]

Eclipse bowed again, then held the bouquet out for her to take, "Yes, Your Majesty, only the best ice roses I can make!"

[Duro Lavoro]

Duro grinned at the boy. "Honestly, it is a bit odd, but you certainly can't walk on your own, and I can't trust Eimara to help you walk either." He glanced at the girl who was merely watching silently; tiffed by his treatment of her. "Don't worry about me; just keep your weight off of that knee." Duro leaned forward so Minh could put his arm around his shoulder, and supported the boy as he stood.

"Eimara," Duro called in a stern voice, glancing over at her. When he saw her innocent face his voice softened. "Stay with us. If you return to the ball with me, I'll give you a gift."

[Lunar]

Lunar paused in thought, at the mention of Eimara from the queen herself.
"I dont mean to pry.. your majesty, but.. speaking of the princess, I have noticed she is absent from the hall?"

[I walk with Time]

Luna watched as the male Ice Dragon helped Minh up and helped him balance himself. She thought to Minh, I never meant to hurt you, Minh...

[Eimara Hielo]

Eimara pouted, but complied. She hated the fact that she had to get Duro for help - she was out here in the first place to avoid him. However, her worry for Minh forced her to get Duro, and now she had to return under the ambassador's watchful eye. But she didn't expect to stay for long. 'As soon as the chance comes, I'm running for it! Again!'

[I walk with Time]

Luna heard the female Ice Dragon's thoughts about running again, and she had to stiffle a chuckle, hoping she didn't hear her.

[Miyani-chan]

Minh laughed once Duro gave his response. The fifteen-year-old boy placed his right arm over Duro's shoulders, and used him to pull himself up slightly. He also used the rock behind him to push himself up as well, so that Duro wasn't just the support. Minh was finally able to stand up, using his left leg as a support, since his right knee was the one that was injured. Minh held onto Duro tightly, hoping that he wouldn't accidentally trip or anything.
"Um, I forgot to say, Duro, but, thank you." He nodded, slightly smiling at him. Minh then turned to Eimara, staring at her.
"Hey... I was wondering.. why were you near that rock earlier? You're an Ice Dragon right? You seem really royal and stuff... Shouldn't you be at the ball?" He asked her, wondering.
