Winter Solstice Roleplay '09! - UPDATE: 1st post

[I walk with Time]

A small frown found it's way to her face. "Um...oh...ok...i gues..." she walked back to the rink and started skating around...all...alone...

[Miyani-chan]

Minh sighed, he really didn't like the fact that she suddenly got all depressed and stuff. He shook his head and sighed. He decided not to think about personal things because she would've heard it anyways. It was annoying when she did that to him. 'You have to know how to enjoy fun - alone or not alone. Got that, Luna?' He thought in his head, and expected her to listen to him through his thoughts.

[I walk with Time]

She heard his thoughts, and walked to the edge of the rink and stepped out. She changed quickly back into her boots, and put the skates back. She transformed into a wolf again and took to the sky without waiting for him. But she did leave him one thought to think on, You don't get it...i'm always alone...

She didn't look back as she flew on. She flew out of the City and into the Outskirts and landed by a crystal tree grove. She didn't enter it, knowing it wasn't smart to be near them, but laid down about 20 feet away from them. She transformed back into a human, but kept her wings out this time. She wrapped them around herself to keep warm as she thought to herself, I should never have ran back to him...they're all alike...

[Miyani-chan]

She did hear his thoughts, and thought another thing to him. 'Always alone... huh..?' He thought, once she left. Minh sighed, it was sort of irritating to see her act like that.
"Gah, arrogant little brat..." Minh whispered to himself, and shook his head. "She needs to learn... everything doesn't revolve around her... she doesn't know what I had to deal through." Minh stood up and walked away from the ice rink area and walked toward the area where he would buy his hot chocolate. He decided that he should ignore the problem by drinking more hot chocolate.

Luna heard his last thought, and stood up in anger. She changed back into wolf and flew back to the ice rink as fast as possible. She changed back into a human and asked the man where the boy she'd been with was had went, and he pointed her in the dirction of the hot chocolate stand. She thanked him and transformed back into a wolf and ran in that direction. She saw him and ran at him. She picked him up in her mouth by the back of his shirt and shot off into the sky. She flew back to the place where she been not ten minutes before and when she was about six feet above the ground, she dropped him and landed infront of him. She snarled at him thinking to him, I know the world doesn't revolve around me, damn it! You still don't get it!!!!! My parents died less that a year ago and i'm still getting over it, OK!? So if i seem a bit pissy then it's because i'm still not sure how to handle this!!!! You were the first person who has been nice to me since they died!!!! By now, tears were staining her fur. People as nice as you don't come around often for me, ok? I'm not being selfcentered...i just...i just wanted a friend!
She transformed back into a human and went to sit on a nearby rock, wrapping her arms around her knees.

[Lunar]

Lunar sipped on the crisp bubbly beverage contained within what she examined, as a slender glass, looking around the majestic room and pondering its lack of guests.
"..I just don't get it." She muttered quietly.

After telling Maeve about her experience in the kitchen, Irenia went up to put Lorin to bed, and then get some sleep herself. She walked up the stairs, tired, and opened the door. She put the sleeping Lorin into her bag with his blanket and went to the bathroom to clean her teeth before going to bed. Laying the blankets to the side, she crept quietly into the bed and yawned, slipping into a deep sleep almost instantly.

She was standing on a small hill in the outskirts of the city, staring out into the heavenly white expanse. Suddenly, a wave seemed to ripple through the earth and she fell into the hard snow slowly. A bright red star lept down from the sky and surrounded her. The power lifted her off of the ground, her eyes turning a bright white. A being walked up to her, fighting the waves of her magic rolling off of her. "Please, Irenia! You can't do this!" the being said loudly over the roaring that filled her ears. "Never," she hissed. "You're only doing this because of what happened to me! You've had your revenge, now stop!" he said. The words had a startling effect on her, and she fell to the ground in a heap. The being ran forwards and cradled her in it's arms. Her eyes drifted closed, and she snuggled in his arms. He stroked her hair as she drifted into awakeness.

Irenia's eyes drifted open to a scene of destruction. Three men lay on the ground, dead or dying. A phantom voice drifted into her ears "See what you have done? You will not be forgiven easily." A tear fell down her cheek and onto the snowy ground before she fully realized where she was. Surveying the scene around her, she realized that she was in the same place as in her dream. Getting up, she felt full of energy until the full realization of what she had done hit her. "No..." she mumbled "For Kindr, for my revenge, but still, it seems wrong. I must get back to the city, so Maeve doesn't worry." She walked quickly into the town, finding the hotel they had been staying at. Now snow covered and exhausted, she opened the door and dragged herself into the main room. Finding Maeve among the tables, she walked over and sat down heavily.

[Maeve]

Maeve had stopped at the table to pick her bag she had left there, when Irenia entered the inn and came to sit beside her. "Hey there!" Maeve said with a cheerful voice as Irenia approached, sitting down with her. She then stopped before saying anything, noticing the other girl didn't seem well.

"Something happened to you?" she asked, a frown on her face, worried about her. She hasn't known Irenia for long, but she still liked her, and she had always hated seeing her friends in a bad state.

[Duro Lavoro]

'She disappeared again!' Duro thought, searching the village for Eimara in haste. He briskly entered an inn and scanned the room for the girl, finding nothing of interest and turning to leave. However, an odd aura caught his attention and he turned back to the room with a more curious gaze.

There was an oddly traumatized looking girl in the room with a worried friend at her side. He didn't want to intrude, but was extremely curious and concerned about the girl, as it was odd for anyone to be upset during the solstice celebration. Duro pondered the pair before approaching with caution. "What's wrong with her?" He tried asking the question softly, but it came out as a harsh order and hoped he didn't startle the brunette. However, he stood his ground.

After her long journy Maria finally made it to the ballroom where the winter solstice celebration was located. She nerously stepped up to the large doors and beat on one of the knockers. She didn't know whether or not to just walk on in or not and didnt want to appear impolite.

Maria's dress wasn't large and majestic, but rather it was cozy and warm colored. She didn't have the money for a huge dress, especially since her fiance died. She kept her hair tied back in a tidy brown ribbon that didn't catch a couple bangs hanging in her face.

The air outside was freezing as it blew her bangs about her face and giving her gooseflesh. At that moment Maria contemplated leaving, but she couldn't do that... She had promised she would at least try to move on with her life. Especially after her long journy, Ok. She had decided she would go inside once someone answered. A shiver ran through her as she waited, but it was of fear, not cold. Was she really ready to move on with her life?

[Maeve]

Maeve turned her head to the newcomer, startled and a bit annoyed by his tone. She looked at him for a second, his face looking strangely familiar. The ambassador, something in her mind told her. She vaguely remembered the ice dragon from last year's solstice, when they had come down to Midorea and asked for help to retrieve the ice crystals. She had never got a chance to talk with him though, and didn't know much about him.

"I don't know," she said, bringing her attention back to Irenia and waiting for her to say or do anything.

[Farfalla Hielo]

Greeting her family and the guests, Farfalla hid her concern for Eimara with a gentle smile. She reached the enterence and glanced outside in hopes that Duro and her daughter would appear, but was distracted by a woman that seemed reluctant to join the ball. She approached her with a warm smile and extended her hand with a small white box in the palm. "Welcome to our ball," she quietly said, tilting her head. "Would you accept this gift?"

[Duro Lavoro]

Duro cleared his throat, turning his attention from the brunette to the silent girl. "I see," he muttered, perplexed. He wasn't sure how to respond, unaccustomed to the treatment he was receiving by her. Usually someone would at least offer him a small smile.

[Maeve]

"Maybe you should go rest a little," Maeve said to Irenia, noticing she was apparently exhausted. She took the other girl's hand and got up, but got no reaction from the other. "Uh, sir?" she said, looking at the ice dragon who had approached them earlier. "Could you help me to bring her to our room? I think it would be better than leaving her here."

[Duro Lavoro]

"Ah, yes." Duro rushed to the girl's other side, stopping short. He was never close to anyone other than Eimara. "Ah... what would you like me to do?"
