*Astrology* Post your sign!

What is your take on astrology? I think it is important in lfe. I mean, you dont want to have two people that are TOTAL opposites together. Yes, opposites do attract, but they can also replle on some things.

Do you believe in astrology? Why, or why not? Oh totally. I mean, I almost will not hang out with some people if I know for a fact that normally our signs clash. Not because I will hate all people with a certain sign, but because I would rather not waste my time trying to get someone that I know wont work with me to be friends, when I could be trying to get to know someone that I know will work well with me.

How much do you relate to your sign? I was born right at midnight on Feb. 18th, so I mix with the Aquarious and the Pices signs. I am deffinately a Humanitarian, and I love to help out others. I will almost always do this, no matter if it isn't in my best intrest. I am also compassionate for others, putting their needs infront of my own, again, at the risk of my own wants and needs.

I dont think that I am a leader in anyway, but apperently I am, since i keep getting promotions and getting job offers for more responsable jobs xD

Although I do believe in Astrology, and will dislike certain signs, I still feel that you shouldn't judge a person solemnly on their sign. But that's just my take on it. Not everyone from that particular sign is bad. And as for opposites, most of my friends are actually signs that my sign does not get along with.

For instance, I'm Aquarius, and I tend to attract female Virgo's to me. They become some of my greatest friends. So in reality, you can look at someones personality traits by their sign, but it would be harsh to judge them solemnly on that sign, and keep away from them all together.

Merel: I agree with you and I always say that people should look more into astrology then just the sun sign if they are gonna judge someone based on astrology. . .

I mean. . . Yeah i have noticed similar actions that other cancers have. . . and that there are things that so many Scorpios all do or what ever.

Everyone is different. . . and nothing can determine who a person is completely. . . they are changed by the life they live. . .

I am a Scorpio! Although I don't pay attention to any of the star signs or horoscopes or anything. it's fun to read them every so often to see if it means anything. Sometimes it makes me think about something, or look at a situation in a different light, but that's about it. Although I suppose that's all you should take it as anyway. ^^;

My sign is scorpio. It's funny because I'm actually studying to be a research psychologist.

Here's my take on astrology:
I don't think that it can predict the future(aside from self fulfilling prophecies), but I do think that it's very interesting and very useful. When you read about the personality traits, you're usually saying "yes that's true" or "no, I'm nothing like that" in your head. So it gives you an easy way to analyze yourself without even necessarily knowing that you're doing it. Personally, I think that knowing yourself is very important.
