Let's Go Flower-viewing! {PLEASE READ FIRST POST!}

[Ryo]

"Wake up kind sir" Someone was shouting at him. Ryo woke up in the groggy manner. He became perturbed because someone had woke him up from his slumber. "What do you want?" Ryo asked.

[Benimaru]

Benimaru's tone was one of great concern, "You didn't sleep at all last night? maybe we should find someplace for you to rest after breakfast, I'll make sure you won't be bothered, and then we can talk about clan leaders and the lotus tree problems afterward, will that be alright?"

[Ryo]

As he spoke to the man, Ryo learned many things. It seemed that the clan leader had lost a very valuable artifact, and that was what was wrong with her. Though the man did not know what it was, he was extremely vehement about finding it.

[Kasumi Ocada]

She was exhausted, but she was pretty sure it was to the point of being overly-tired. If this was true, Kasumi wouldn't be able to sleep no matter how much she tried. She smiled kindly at Benimaru, "No... I'll be fine. I think all I need is some food. And then, I should probably go to bed early tonight." She was beginning to be able to smell the food up ahead and her stomach gave a little gurgle so she laughed.

A few moments later she went on, "I think today I would like to focus on speaking to members of the clans. You and I have been sort of pushed to the side a lot and I think I've noticed a bit of a hush-hush attitude about the entire situation. It really bothers me."

[Alu Amahté Kemnebi]

Joining in the festivities for today, Alu walks up to the nearest group of people and joins in the conversation,

"Good evening, everyone. How are you all doing tonight?"

[Ryo]

Ryo watched the man, as he went to another person to ask questions. He began to think of what she lost. Maybe it was an expensive jewel, or maybe a magical artifact.

[Yaneci DeNovi]

Yaneci walks among the lotus trees, pondering the notes she'd found, and tidbits of information she'd gathered from others. It was true she hadn't been here much since she found the first note. So it is likely someone had figured it all out, or at the very least remotely possible. Not that she had any way of finding out. She wasn't about to go walking about and asking every stranger she came across about it. What if no one had figured it out? That would mean who ever was behind it wasn't discovered yet. She'd read too many mystery novels, so she knew what happened to the nosy face who went around asking questions. Not that she was normally this paranoid, but if someone would harm the lotus trees for the pleasure and amusement of a real life mystery, they'd see no wrong in harming a fellow person. Right?

She's so absorbed in her thoughts, she's hardly paying attention to where she's going, or who's around. A sudden turn on her part has her headed right towards Ryo. Too late she realizes she's about to step on his toes. Pulling up short, she stumbles, bumping into him. "Oh! Sorry!" She steps back, her face blazing a deep red-pink.

[Ryo]

Ryo felt a blazing pain in his toes.
"It's ok, you didn't mean to." He consoled to Yaneci.
Ryo chuckled to himself as he watched her blush.

(Sorry, I know you do not know me and all, but I am a TERRIBLE roleplayer, just so you know, not to mention my body is welcoming sleep)

[Benimaru]

"That is peculiar," said Benimaru, rubbing his chin thoughtfully, "perhaps we can be the proverbial 'fly on the wall' as well. We'll learn alot by talking to people and then learn even more by hanging back and listening, what do you think?"

[Ryo]

Ryo walked towards the clan leader, Mizu. He thought of variants of the questions he was going to propose to her, to ask her what the artifact was that she lost.

[Yaneci DeNovi]

Yaneci shakes her head, irritated at herself. "True, but I should have been watching where I was going." Hearing the other man speak, she looks over at him. Not only had she managed to step on someone, she'd disrupted their conversation. "Sor.. Wait, learn a lot about what?" Catching what he was saying, she switched strides, hoping it's news of the notes and ill lotus trees.

{{It's OK Ryo. I'm just getting back into it after a 4-5 year hiatus. I tend to type out text walls, then the next few are like one liners.. Then too, I haven't been back reading, so the bits about notes and sick lotus trees coulda been figured out days ago. XD }}

[Ryo]

Ryo calls over his shoulder,"It is ok, I swear!"

Ryo is intercepted by a guard of Mizu. He asks of his approach to the clan leader. Ryo tells him. The guard then tells Ryo, that Mizu lost her clan's Yoki, which was a small blue pebble.

[Kasumi Ocada]

"Well..." Kasumi thought, "It couldn't hurt." Just then her stomach growled again and she gave somewhat of an embarassed smile to Benimaru.

"Would you like me to bring you some of the moon cakes? I think the stand is just up ahead..."

[Ryo]

Ryo immediately had thoughts about what to do. He thought of giving it back to her personally, but they might have thought that he stole it. he did not know why he got that notion, but that was what he was thinking.

[SilverPhoenyx]

Phoenyx walked up the path to the festival area rubbing her head.
She was very disoriented, not knowing what time of day it was nor where she had been and for how long.
Phoenyx spread her wings and stood upright.. looking around for signs of life. She was hungry and needed to fill her stomach.
