Hallo and welcome to Aaya-Tan's Art Collection thread.

This thread is an exclusive thread for Aaya based art, be it Mido related or possibly rp related.

Most of these posts will be of my characters or midorea avatar, either of their images I've made for them, or images made of them as gifts, and, of course, commissions I've had made of them. Note, this won't be as image heavy as you think it will, in fact, I'll just be posting links to galleries where images are posted (if posted in galleries) instead.

This way, I can have more space and not have to take up too much space.

Strengths: She's stubborn, but determined. She works until the job gets done, and doesn't stop until it's finished. She has a habit of making friends with any and everything. People, creatures, and plants included. She is far from being a master, but she's good at what she does, be it alchemy or music. She's strong willed, and always fights for what she believes in if the need calls for it. She's generally a pacifist by heart, though she will clock you one if you really are asking for it in her eyes. She keeps her cool for the most part, but there are some factors that trigger past events that she doesn't like reliving.
Weaknesses: She's overly protective. She takes care of everyone and everything, be it sentient or not. She overworks herself to exhaustion as well. She doesn't know her own limits as both an alchemist and as a person. Some might say this a weakness, or a strength, but she's also overly friendly, to the point where personal space has been a lost cause for her. She has a weakness for cute things, namely cute and fluffy things. If they're squishy, she's puddy in your hands. She hasn't completely overcome incidents in her pasts, and has small phobias of certain creatures, such as beta Boralions and Skids in all forms. She has an extremely low tolerance for alcohol.
Abilities: Ability to manipulate light and shadows - Basically, she uses them for teleportation with the help of a small talisman that she makes for personal use. Oh, and super awesome shadow puppets.
Hobbies/talents: She plays a pan flute, but not only that, she's known for her musical prowess in singing. Beside selling powders and medicinal herbs, during the night, she works as a lounge singer at a small local tavern near her home. She loves to read books on the ancient mythology, even if she doesn't understand most of it; along with writing her own theories of what each creature is or how it functions. Though scared of some species, she enjoys reading about them and studying them from afar. WAY far afar.
Appearance: White hair with red tips due to an accident in the workshop. Apparently powdered mercurial scales, even if condensed into a powdered form, still has effects. Also, leaving a window open on a windy day doesn't make the powder any less easy to work with. It created a pretty potent bleaching agent. Her hair was originally completely red, but thanks to the dusting, only the front bangs are red still. Two colored eyes, one red and one blue, no, there was no scientific accident there, just a genetic trait in her family. It skipped her two sisters, but her youngest brother also shares this similarity. She usually wears a dark makeup around them to accentuate the color and her lashes, also a dark red almost black. Her skin-tone is the average bookworm's pale, with three clawmark scars on her face from an incident that will be rehashed in history. She's fairly top heavy, and has curves, though she generally's self concious about it and won't respond if you call her out on it. She's got a little baby fat around her face, though you can still see her cheekbones just a smidgeon.
Attire: She usually wears dark attire, such as blacks, browns, or dark green robes. Mainly a vest-type top with the robe tucked in underneath, a corset of some sort, usually with black lace, and leup handling gloves as she has to deal with her alchemy. The sleeves are slender, they only reach about an inch and a half below the wrist, and the robes material is made out of a thick cotton-like substance that she fiddled with herself. The inside of the robe is lined with a sweat retardant material so she doesn't end up stinking like a dead leupak. Usually while working at the shop, she'll have on a small choker around her neck, hiding a single scar across her throat, it's black with white lace and a single silver pendant hangs down from it with her name engraved in calligraphy. She doesn't like wearing skirts save for work, but generally has on a pair of black slacks with large pouched belts on her hips (Much like a handy-man's belt, she uses the pouches to store tools, powder satchels, vials, things that she generally uses for her alchemy, also a small vial of ink and some quills for those random burst of inspiration). She wears a pair of small specks, on the end of her nose, due to her impending blindness. She has no earrings or other bangles, though she has a tendency to wear a ring once in a while, carved out of onyx that was a gift of a friend.
She wears a red gown for her 'uniform' at the Den Lounge. It's an off the shoulder gown with a dark red collar and sash around the waist. In the middle of the sash knot is a fake facet gem (costume jewelry basically), and the bottom of it's lined with silver threads. The sleeves are long peek-a-boo sleeves (Basically, instead of covering the entir arm, they split halfway down the bicept to let it hang in open folds of cloth from the elbows down), the material's length stops at her wrists and hangs down in a bell-like fashion to about mid thigh if both arms were stretched out in front of her. When hanging down by her sides, they stop below her knees. The bodice that rests above the sash is simply dark red leather, stained to match the collar and sleeve lining, with black lace criss-crossing in small silver hoops in front just under the bust-line. There's another fake facet gem in the middle at the dip of the collar, just above the cleavage. The dress comes with a single collar, a mesh type-material that connects around the neck in a dark red choker, offering some small bit of decency. The skirt itself is lined with the same dark material as the sleeves, stopping at her knees, and holding a few metalic gears on the ends that bunch up a little bit over heel boots lined with faux fur.
Around her neck she always wears a single locket, a silver moon that opens up into three separate parts. In it are separate pictures, one of her mother, one of her and her cousin Dominique, and one of her first love Rean. The pictures are sepia toned, and very awkwardly cut, so it's not easy to see just who they are unless you were there or she told you.
Items/weapons: Generally, the only weapons she has on her person are the powders and talismens she keeps in her satchel at all times. She's a pacifist by nature, but if the need arises, she has no qualms with kicking someone's ass. She's a hand-to-hand combat type of gal, preferring a style of street-fighting judo to any of the martial arts. It was a self-taught practice, until she was 19, then she found a small dojo near her shop where she learned the proper techniques to use when fighting, such as how to flip someone with the most damage, and how to fall when flipped to receive the least amount of damage. If required, and she can not win in a fight, she'll escape using her teleportation talismans, or hide into the shadows themselves, a technique taught to her by an "old friend" named Lucrid Anton.
Personality: Though sick (Not in the head you arseholes), she's rather lively for someone who knows she's probably going to die within the next couple of years. She says it all the time, but she lives each moment like her last, and is more than aware that it can cause trouble. She's mischievious through and through, and has never met a stranger. She'll walk right up to you and shake your hand as opposed to just staring at you blankly from the other side of the room. When she wants to know something, she outright asks or finds out herself, most of the time, ending up in some random explosion or someone's hair changing color. She's a tiny bit of a prankster, nothing too strong when it comes to everyday life, however, when it comes to science, she's actually turned people into other kinds of creatures. Though she's forgotten how to change them back. Otherwise, she knows she's going to pass soon, so she's always looking for new things to try and do before that time comes. Her philosophy is this : "If I'm going to write a book about my life, I think of it this way. If it were to sell, and someone were to buy it, would they stop after the first few pages or keep going? I want to make a legend out of my life, even if it's only to myself. I want a story people'll tell their kids about 'That Crazy Alchemist', but, of course not in the Doctor Frankenstien kind of Crazy. OH LOOK! Cotton Candy!"

Strengths: She may be a powerful fighter when it comes to the magics, but, hand to hand combat is one of her favorites. She doesn't use her magi enough to be fluent in them, she merely uses it for if she's lazy or wishes to help someone. Her Greatest fighting style is a type of Taekwondo that was first created by the dragons themselves. It requires the balance of your own ki and magi and your physical being and self-awareness. She's very headstrong and determined, always willing to try and get what she needs to get done, and then enjoying the time she has left to do with whatever she pleased.
Weaknesses: Other than sweets and candies, her largest weakness would quite possibly be the water based attacks. She is, of course, an earth dragon based being, and thus can not swim. She sinks directly to the bottom of any lake or pond and could possibly drown. She also is quite stubborn in attitude, constantly trying to make herself better and find a proper way to perfect her fighting styles. She also has a weakness for cute and fluffy things, though she would never admit it. Her pride never allows her to ask for help too often, even though it's offered, unless it's forced, most likely, she'll try to do everything on her own.
Abilities: She's an Earth Dragon humanoid, so she has the ability to manipulate (Note: That's not CONTROL) the earth around her, including trees and plants. She also has the ability to play the grass whistle (getting a blade of grass and blowing on it just right) as though it were a proper instrument. She can listen and understand the earth when it speaks, (Though half the time she probably doesn't care what they have to say since she's usually just being scolded for doing something wrong).
Hobbies/talents: Other than pranking people into thinking that a forest (Her forest usually) is haunted, she finds that she can play the Guzheng, Morin khuur, and the Yangqin like a native. There are times when she will actually play all three together, along with many other Chinese musical instruments to create beautiful music that filters through the forest during the solstices.
