Let's Go Flower-viewing! {PLEASE READ FIRST POST!}

Frey had returned once more and today she felt refreshed and full of energy. She had rested well, which was a little unusual for her, and had returned to the festival to see what might remain to be seen.

At her side, as always, was her cave lioness Maverick, who stood nearly as tall as she: five feet at the shoulder. Running her hand through Maverick's thick, snowy-grey fur, Frey's ruby eyes took in the people milling about.

It seemed more crowded today than it usually was. And there were those nicely dressed individuals about as well. Perhaps that was the reasoning behind the crowds? It didn't take her more than a minute to realize that her friend, Aay, was around as well, though at the moment she didn't see her. Flicking her cat-like tail, Frey moved along the outskirts of the festival, just taking it all in.

Watching people move about was in some ways like watching a herd of deer and it calmed Frey a little to study them. Studying was easier than socializing anyways.

Yaneci grins. "It's okay. And, uh sorry for dragging you along." Her face takes on a pink tinge as her blush returned. "I just had to ask Lord Tu something, but I..." Her voice trails off and her blush deepens. "So, yea, you hungry? I have some meat pastries." She plops down, sitting cross-legged, and hoping the topic change to food will distract him enough not to follow her broken off words.

'Oh crap,' Bunny thought, grimacing. The girl might have noticed him but he couldn't tell. He had looked away too quickly, trying to mask his obvious interest in her tree climbing abilities. Flushed, he turned his attention everywhere except the tree. He finally dropped his gaze to the ground and walked a few steps away from the tree and crowd and kicked a stone, not knowing quite what do with himself.

He couldn't say why this girl seemed so interesting to him. All she did was climb a tree with a fish in hand. She was also the first person he had seen in the festival who seemed lonely -- just like him.

With renewed vigor, he looked up and balled his fist, almost in a resolved gesture that he finally made a decision. He twirled his head to the tree and walked right up to it, standing at the base and staring pointedly at the girl.

He waited for her to notice, although he knew she had been watching him the whole time. People had passed by him, their brightly colored clothes throwing off anyone else's interest, but this girl had seen him looking at her. No turning back now...

Daza watched as he noticed that she had already seen him. He seemed a bit conflicted over what to do, to walk away or to try and talk to her.

When he finally stopped, turned around and walked to the tree, she was a bit, but not completely, suprised. She smiled and gave a small wave to him. " 'Ello." she said, hopefully loud enough. She always had trouble speaking up, or speaking at all for that matter. "I would get down to talk to you, but I'm afraid I'm a bit stuck....I had enough trouble getting up here as it was. Getting down would probably kill me."

Sage smiled softly as a light blush flushed her face in pink. "Ah, Lord Tu is his name?" He said, looking off into the direction where he retreated to, long gone. "Oh meat pastries you say? I'll always be hungry for food." He replied as he sat down along side Yan, laying back habitually.

He closed his eyes for a moment, feeling the air upon his skin, marveling how grand the day was when he felt himself drifting once more. Perhaps he was narcoleptic, but what ever it was, he was once again in the land of lala.

Bunny gulped and flushed again. He had heard her, although it was a bit hard to do over the din of the crowd.

Not saying anything, he quickly grabbed a hold of the tree and hoisted himself up, slowly but strongly making his way to her branch. Calculating, he wrapped his hands around each branch and swung his way upwards.

He finally made it to the top where she sat and sat on a branch a bit lower than her but as close as he could get.

"Would you like a ride down?" he asked with a grin, offering his back to her and peering at her over his shoulder.

Yaneci calls in a small picnic basket. Setting it down she pulls out two wrapped meat pastries. Looking over she sees Sage is dozing. Biting her tongue, she gently shakes him. "Time to eat?" She asks.

Aay dangled from the branch just above Bunny's head as he approached. Ah, well, she still went unnoticed. Funny how things worked out that way.

Popular until all the cool kids leave. Hmph, that kind of shit generally just got under her skin, really. No matter, insignificant people as such don't mean anything to her anyway. None of them were her friends, or family, or even acquaintances from her shop. She snorted at the two below her, then turned her attention back to the festival.

She spotted Frey and Maverick not too far off, and decided she wanted to test something. Frey had become increasingly intuned with her, maybe she would hear it.

Over here! it came as a hushed, sudden whisper, quick as the wind and as soft as the summer night. She repeated herself once more, alerting Frey to where she was, or at least attempting to. If Frey didn't put two and two together, or if it, perhaps, just didn't work, she'd just call out to her if needs be.

She smiled a bit where she lay on the branch, ignoring both Daza and Bunny as they did whatever they were doing below her. She was more interested in her actual friend that was nearby.

Muse didn't know what was going on, he just slept peacefully at her lower back, tail swaying gently behind him.

Bunny looked up, finally noticing the woman above them with the spider and cat. He looked bewildered rather than awed and watched her look away.

"I guess this tree's becoming the place to be," he joked, more to ease his nerves than give the girls a laugh.

Being gently shaken, Sage blinked open his eyes muttering, "ah, did i fall asleep again?" He sat up, rubbing his eyes and yawning for a good measure before looking at the meat pastries set before them.

"ah these look wonderfully good." He said, smiling at Yan after observing the food. "Thanks for sharing. It's unfortunate I haven't much to give in return." He said apologetically.

Frey suddenly paused in her steps as a voice whispered to her through the wind. She blinked and looked a little puzzled, waiting. Yes, there it was. Aay's voice...but she knew she wasn't really hearing it. Scarlet eyes scanned the festival, seeking the owner of the whisper, and there, in a tree nearby!

Frey's ears pricked towards her friend and she smiled, lifting a hand to say that she had heard her, that she was coming. Maverick grunted gently, questioning Frey. Frey could only shrug towards the cave lioness. She didn't know why it was happening, but it was happening. She was becoming more and more intune with Aay.

Making her way through the crowds, which was, as always, easy due to the fact that they seemed to part whenever Maverick was around, she approached the tree. Looking up into the branches at her friend, Frey grinned widely.

"What are you doing up there, Aay? Looking for an attractive man or two?" She teased playfully, her eyes sparkling.

Pulling two more meat pastries from the basket, Yaneci shakes her head a bit. "Is okay, your company is enough." As she spreads the wrapping out, she notices another parchment near her on the ground. Picking it up she groans. "Not another blasted note!" She mutters, uncrumpling it to read.

"I suppose it is." Daza said. "Then again, I did think I was quite seperate from the crowd up here. I just enjoy avoiding getting stepped on." she grinned slightly.
"No, thank you. I think I can manage it if I take a moment to see where I'm going." She looked around, and jumped, landing steadily on the branch right below her. "I said I couldn't climb down. Jumping is a much easier goal." She continued to drop out of the tree, landing on her feet easily, her arms out to steady herself. "Now if only I didn't carry so much."

Oh, NOW she was noticed? Aay turned her eyes down to Bunny as he spoke about the tree being the place to be, "Always is when the Clan leaders are around, otherwise it's the place everyone avoids," she grinned cattishly a bit before turning her attention back to her friend as she waved.

Ah, so it was true. She really was synching with Frey. Perhaps that was why she felt so healthy as of late. She waved back with her free arm, still perched haphazardly on the branch as the two arrived. She reached behind her to give Muse a few pokes. Muse let out a mew before realizing Maverick and Frey were there. He slid off of her back to land on the ground easily beside Maverick. Immediately after he climbed up onto his normal perch on her head.

Aay chuckled, "I've already found one that entertains me, but alas~ He keeps disappearing! It's so agitating. At least I stole his food, though. I wonder if I could sell this box in the clan for big money since "The All Mighty Fuu Sho" ate from it," she reached over to remove the dumpling box from its wedged position.

"Few folks been walking past here today, too. I must really be an amazing ninja since no one seems to notice me lately. I think you're rubbing off on me you brilliant hunter you~" she teased Frey a bit before tossing her the box, "See for yourself. His little dirty handprints are all over it. Should start bringing wet-naps anytime I see him so I can be all motherly and clean his face and such," she giggled a bit.
