I sometimes gain a little weight and feel chubby because I'm 4'11-5'0, but over all I'm pretty good in the weight department. Just need to exercise, unfortunately if I gain a little bit of weight I start looking like I've gained plenty of weight... I think it's my genetics mixed with my height more than anything.

I am... quite large. (5'11, 255lbs) I have never been thin for any moment in my entire life. It sucked growing up a larger person, but eventually I had to get used to it.

I've never been so large where it affected my health much, but for some reason everyone seems to think that fat = ugly.

Meh... I lucked out in the end. I got this adorably cute guy who is only attracted to larger women.

Oh, no! Ladies discussing weight gain!

I always feel so out of place in these situations. I dislike it so much when women fuss over something so unimportant, in my opinon as long as you are healthy and happy, your weight shouldnt' matter.

Granted, I'm a bit of a perfectionist myself, but I guess I can't avoid that in my line of work.

I guess I go against the grain a bit, but I don't like thin women. Of course, I don' t like my women so overweight that I worry they will have a heart attack either. So, if you're out of either extreme category, I won't mind.

Then again... this isn't abot me or my preferences. Transcendence, I'm sure you're beautiful no matter what your weight is.

I suppose that I am within my healty BMI, but I feel like I am not as pretty as the girls on tv. I dont have a perfect bathing suit body.

I'm about 5 foot 4 and weight close to 140 pounds.
Then again, I have a very wide back and dense bone structure.
Fact of the matter is,
it doesn't matter.
As long as your healthy, weight is trivial, as long as you keep it so it's not just junk fat. use it for something.

Kasumi - I hear you. ;_; I've always been overweight, since I was like 11. But, unlike you I never got used to it. I battled like crazy once I got to college.... I went from 210 to 140 and I'm 5'6". X( But now I weigh... more. LOL but as I said, working on that e_e;

Yeah, I don't have a bathing suit body either, never have (obviously). My skin is also really bad for some reason - I don't mean like psoriasis or anything, but it's gotten really damaged from puberty and weight gain/loss and never healed, so it's uuh super fail. I never wear a bathing suit that doesn't cover everything...and I wear it with a skirt or long shorts. It's kind of a bummer.
I also know that no matter how much weight I lose I'll never look good, so I guess it doesn't matter! LoL... I'm just doing it to be healthy and comfortable. And to fit in my favorite pair of pants!!! >x(

The biggest problem with my body is I've gotten vericose and spider veins from my three pregnancies. My legs are horrible.

kaishi - you know what it took for me to finally be completely OK with my body? I was always somewhat confident, with an "I don't give a crap what you think" kind of attitude, but the media still affected me.

It wasn't until I found my Benimaru that I became happy with my body (and not just accepting of it) It sounds cliche but he all but worships me. I couldn't be luckier.

im about 5'6 and right now i weigh in at 165
ya not what im used to.
But i did just have a baby so i know a lot of it is
left over from the pregnancy.

I used to weigh 140 and iw as so happy with myself.
But right now, im not so happy with myself.
i want my lean stomach back and i want
the left over Stretch Marks gone.
My child tore up my stomach T__T

and i had just gotten to a point to where i was comfortable with
the way i looked, and it had a big thing to do with the guy im with now.
But i really want my body back..

which is why i continue to eat healthy and breastfeed oh ya!!

wow so many of you are mothers. I don't think that is what I want to be for a long time. Even though I haven't had kids, I still have stretch marks on my chest and hips. They grew so fast I guess.

They at least are now white and not as noticeable, but they are still there. I guess as long as they are not purple anymore thats good.
